The Agency is equipped with the necessary technical means of active influence and has the opportunity to involve the best specialists from leading institutes and production organizations of Roshydromet in the work. The Agency completed projects to artificially increase precipitation in Cuba, Portugal, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), more than 100 large-scale works on weather protection of cities during state, cultural and sports events. Among the works performed: Victory Day, Russia Day, City Day in Moscow, the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg and &#171;Scarlet Sails&#187;, weather protection of Tashkent during the celebration of the Uzbek national holiday Navruz and Independence Day of Uzbekistan, . Nur-Sultan). A special place is occupied by the participation of the Agency&#8217;s specialists in the meteorological protection of Beijing during the opening of the XXII Olympic Games in July 2008 and during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the People&#8217;s Republic of China in October 2009.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0A significant place in the work of the Agency is occupied by experimental research and development work related to the creation of new reagents, the improvement and creation of new technical means of influencing clouds and fogs in order to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of operational and production work, as well as improve the scientific and methodological base AB.
