For introduction of various reagents into clouds the planes are equipped with a specially designed devices. Discharge of solid carbon dioxide pellets is performed by means of devices consisting of a drive with the pump installed inside the fuselage, and the outlet pipe (Fig. 1, 2).
For storage of carbon dioxide pellets the special lightweight collapsible insulated containers with pallets are used, allowing to store carbon dioxide on the ground and on board of the aircraft for several days (Fig. 3).To carry out cloud seeding with liquid nitrogen the planes are equipped with generators of fine particles of ice, GMCHL-A, consisting of a vessels Dewar with liquid nitrogen, special nozzles with thermoelements, providing the necessary pressure for the supply of liquid nitrogen from the vessels, valves, pipelines and nozzles with pylon designed spray liquid nitrogen in clouds (Fig. 4).
To reset the packages with coarse-dispersion powders used for the destruction of the powerful convective clouds, the aircraft are equipped with transporters (Fig. 5), providing the required number of discharge packs. If no carrier the manual reset of packages is used (Fig. 6).
