Structure of soft- and hardware ACS «ANTIGRAD» complex:
- equipment for radar signal digital conversion;
- the computer for processing of the radar information;
- communication lines to the rocket launching sites;
- special software.
ACS «ANTIGRAD» provides in an automatic mode:
- three-dimensional space scanning in a round-the-clock mode both of cloud fields and precipitation in 250 km range with periodicity of 3,5 min;
- analog-to-digital conversion of the two-wavelength MRL-5 radar signals in ground clutter suppression option;
- processing of the radar information simultaneously on two wavelengths and displaying on a terrain map:
- horizontal cloud sections at any altitude;
- vertical cloud profiles in any given direction;
- cloud reflectivity maps(Z10 and Z3,2);
- cloud top and bottom boundary maps of radar echo of cloudiness;
- cloud hail danger map;
- precipitation intensity map;
- precipitation amount map;
- hail-prone area map;
- direction and speed of cloud movement;
- time dependence of cloud parameters and so on.
- identification of hail- and hail-risky clouds;
- selection of seeding areas in hail- and hail-risky clouds within 100 km range;
- optimal selection of rocket launching sites;
- documentation and archiving of radar information on hail clouds and coordinates of rocket’s start.
