Artificial regulation of precipitation

Weather modification of various forms of cloudiness to artificially regulate rainfall in the interests of certain sectors of the economy in recent decades have been becoming more widespread in the world.
Droughts, floods, flash floods in many countries lead to emergency situations, casualties and cause extensive damage to agriculture, flora, fauna, buildings, vehicles, power lines, communications etc. Increased frequency of such anomalies in recent years is associated with a number of factors, among which are the trend of global warming, increasing population and rapid development of industry and agriculture.
World experience of pilot studies and operational works in the field of weather modification, carried out in the world for over 60 years, shows that the solution of urgent problems of human life as a struggle with drought, the prevention of catastrophic rainfall, cloud scattering is achievable by means of  the active influence.
The use of weather modification technology to control rainfall for normal human activity has confirmed their effectiveness.
As a result performed in our country and abroad, many years of theoretical and experimental research on atmospheric process significant practical results were achieved in the field of weather modification.
Environmentally safe means of influence on different forms of clouds were developped and aircraft and ground-based technology are designed on their basis to increase summer and winter precipitation, as well as managing the development of cloud systems to the local increase or decrease of precipitation.
